Thomas Harris, Jr., FACHE, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare since June 2021. Additionally, Thomas holds the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for LifeSource and is the President Elect of the NAHSE Heartland Chapter, both roles commencing in January and July 2023, respectively. As of June 2024, Thomas will join the Advisory Board for the Health Services Management Program at the University of Minnesota College of Continuing & Professional Studies. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at Ochsner Health System, with system-wide oversight for Pediatrics from September 2015 to June 2021, and tenures at Children's Hospital Los Angeles as Associate Vice President of Pediatrics and Administrative Director from October 2010 to September 2015, as well as Assistant Medical Center Administrator at Kaiser Permanente. Thomas holds a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dillard University.
