Josh Stapleton

Josh Stapleton has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the healthcare industry. Josh is currently the Vice President of Operations at LifeSync since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ZimVie as the Senior Director of Operations from March 2022 to August 2022.

Josh's longest tenure was at Zimmer Biomet, where they held multiple roles. From September 2020 to March 2022, they served as the Senior Director of Operations. Before that, they were the Director of Operations from September 2016 to September 2020. Josh started at Zimmer Biomet as the Associate Director of Distribution Operations and Sites Leader in January 2013, where they managed commercial field operations and distribution for spinal implants/sets.

Before joining Zimmer Biomet, Josh worked at Biomet as the Global Concurrent Engineering Manager from February 2012 to January 2013. Josh was responsible for the commercialization of new products and managed a team of engineers and operators.

Josh's career began at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, where they held various roles. Josh was the Engineering Manager for recon knee orthopaedic implants from April 2010 to January 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer III from August 2007 to April 2010 and as a Manufacturing Engineer II from September 2004 to August 2007. Josh also started their career as a Research Engineer Intern, involved in testing trauma and recon products for FDA 510k filings.

Josh's earliest work experience was at Tennessee Veterinary Hospital, where they served as a Research Engineer from January 2002 to January 2004.

Josh Stapleton completed their education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Josh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2002 and later pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2004.
