Ivory Toldson is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of education and psychology. Serving as the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Negro Education since 2008, Toldson also holds the position of Founding Director at the Center for Research, Evaluation, Assessment, and Training in Education. With a professorship at Howard University and previous roles including Director of Education Innovation and Research at the NAACP and President and CEO of the Quality Education for Minorities (QEM) Network, Toldson has significantly contributed to improving educational outcomes for minorities. Earlier experience includes the role of Executive Director of the White House Initiative on HBCUs and Senior Research Analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Toldson completed a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Temple University and has held various academic and consulting positions throughout a robust career dedicated to educational innovation and research.
