Harold Moore

Harold Moore is an experienced CISO with a diverse work history. Harold is currently a Board Member at the Cloud Security Alliance, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Lifeway Christian Resources from 2021, where they were recruited to lead culture change and digital transformation. Harold held the position of Director, Information Security at Plymouth Rock Assurance from 2018 to 2021, where they led the entire strategy and execution for the enterprise.

Before that, Moore worked at Froedtert Health as the Director, Information Security from 2015 to 2017, overseeing IT security for a major healthcare system. Harold was also a Board Member at HIPAA COLLABORATIVE OF WISCONSIN INC from 2016 to 2017.

From 2012 to 2015, Moore held various roles at Johnson Controls, including Director, Global Information Security, Manager, Global Information Security, and Manager, Global IT Security. Prior to that, they supervised the North American IT Security team at Johnson Controls from 2007 to 2010.

Moore started their career as an Information Security Engineer at Rockwell Automation from 2005 to 2007. Harold also worked at Johnson Controls Inc. as a Global IT Auditor from 2000 to 2005. Harold began their professional journey as an I&MT Desktop Support Technician at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999.

Harold Moore, CISO, holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Christian Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Harold also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business - Management Information Systems from Lubar College of Business between 1996 and 2001. In addition to their educational background, Harold Moore has various certifications in the field of information security, including CISSP from (ISC)², Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC, ITIL v3, and PCIP from PCI Security Standards Council.
