LiftHER Career is a mission-driven career launcher helping young talent, particularly those from immigrant-connected backgrounds, build the skills, experience and networks to confidently launch and advance their careers.  We empower and uplift by tackling barriers like underemployment, lack of experience, and limited social capital.

Our signature program, Grad2Hire, is a holistic, structured, cohort-based career launcher.  It begins with 6 weeks of career readiness training and hands-on experiential learning, leading directly into job referrals and the potential for a paid post-graduate fellowship in sectors in need of young talent.

Grad2Hire is designed for recent and upcoming graduates (Bachelors+). This is not a passive course, but rather an active "career launchpad".  Key features include:

- Establish Your Professional Brand: Develop the critical "soft skills" like communication, teamwork, and connecting with people, required to not just secure a job, but thrive in it.

- Explore Overlooked Sectors Seeking Talent: Gain "insider" access to professions and industries such as Risk Management & Insurance that are actively seeking early-career talent.

- Enhance Your Project Portfolio with our Industry-Focused Capstone: Work in teams to solve a real-world Risk Management challenge and present your findings to a panel of industry leaders.

- Build Your Network: Engage with guest speakers in small-group settings and in 1:1 mentorship sessions with our LiftHERs, a network of vetted professionals ready to provide insider insights and career support.

- Join a community of motivated peers that provide collective accountability and momentum needed to sustain yourself

- Get direct referrals for full-time roles or internships OR qualify for a 6-month paid fellowship with career coaching and mentorship
