David Labonte

David Labonte has over 20 years of work experience in the energy industry. David is currently the Non-Executive Chairman at IronSight starting from 2019. Previously, they served as the CEO and President of Lifting Solutions Inc. from 2014 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at Weatherford, where they held various leadership roles including Vice President of Global Business Units, Vice President of Progressing Cavity Pumping Systems & Continuous Rod, Canadian Region Manager of Artificial Lift Systems, General Manager of COROD Continuous Rod and Wellhead Systems, and Canadian Human Resources Manager. In 2013, they worked as a Director and Executive Management Consultant at Kanik Consulting Corp for the client ARC Financial. David Labonte has extensive expertise in strategic planning, operational effectiveness, top-line growth, and sales and marketing in the energy industry.

David Labonte attended the University of Alberta from 1985 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Business, Industrial Relations, and Economics. In February 2021, they obtained a certification in Private Company Governance Program from the Ozone Advisory Group Inc.
