Cong Wu

Cong Wu has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Currently, Cong Wu is employed as a Software Engineer at Liftoff Mobile starting from April 2021. Prior to that, Cong Wu worked at their own LLC as a Solo-entrepreneur from May 2018. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing a PostgreSQL DB high availability architecture, re-designing and implementing an order/receipt printing job dispatching service, and authoring multiple core features of an online/offline restaurant ordering system. Before starting their own business, Cong Wu was the Co-Founder and CTO at RentryWay Inc., AskMinka.com from May 2015 to January 2018. In this position, they designed and implemented an online rental property management system and prototyped an automated SMS/online messaging system. Cong Wu also worked at Microsoft, where they held various roles. From March 2014 to May 2015, Cong Wu worked as a Senior Software Design Engineer, focusing on OOBE Terms of Use in multi-language support in Windows Phone and categorized new phone settings with quick search. Prior to that, from February 2008 to March 2014, Cong Wu served as a Senior Software Design Engineer in Test, responsible for quality ownership of multiple products/features. They also worked as a Software Design Engineer from July 2005 to February 2008, developing core features for Communicator Web Access. Cong Wu started their career at Microsoft as an Intern in 2004, where they designed and authored an internal financial system.

Cong Wu completed their Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology between 1998 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended Chongqing #29 middle school from 1992 to 1998. Cong Wu also obtained a certification as a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Engineer from Triplebyte in February 2021.
