Alex Stonehouse

Alex Stonehouse has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and technical product management. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Research Analyst for Odyssey House Trust, Auckland, where they were responsible for the analysis of a data set with over 900 variables and development of intranet applications. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Lead Front-End Software Engineer for FTAPI Software GmbH, focusing primarily on client development but also doing work on the server-side. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer / Technical Product Manager for reppa.net GmbH, building products for multiple clients. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Senior App Engineer and Apps Team Lead for LIFX, where they were responsible for development of the LIFX iOS and Android app. Currently, they are working as a Technical Lead for Concentrix Tigerspike.

Alex Stonehouse completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science from The University of Auckland in 2010, focusing on Programme Evaluation, Health Economics, Research Methodology, and Public Health. From 2007 to 2009, they completed a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Auckland, concentrating on Public Health, Community Development, Statistics, and Public Policy. Alex received their High School Diploma from Middleton High School in Tampa, Florida in 2006.
