Matthew R. is the Director of Hardware Engineering at LIFX since July 2017, overseeing all hardware aspects from conceptualization to mass production, and leading teams in industrial design, electrical, mechanical, and test engineering. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Hardware Engineer at Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group and a Mechatronic Engineer at Strategic Engineering, where engagement in diverse defense industry segments enhanced experience across multiple areas. Matthew also worked as a Design/Integration Engineer at RPDE, focusing on rapid prototyping for defense applications, including unmanned systems. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Wollongong, achieved between 2009 and 2013.
