Raghed Tamer

Raghed Tamer has a diverse range of work experience. Raghed is currently working as an Analytics Solutions Manager at LigaData since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at MTN SYRIA for many years, holding various roles. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Digital Services Senior Manager, where they provided strategic direction and leadership to the Digital Services team. Raghed also collaborated with other teams and stakeholders to optimize the digital experience and develop innovative offerings.

Before that, from 2016 to 2020, Raghed was the IT VAS Manager, responsible for managing Value Added Services in the IT department. From 2012 to 2016, they were the VAS Operation & Administration Supervisor, overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of VAS equipment and services. In their early career at MTN SYRIA, from 2007 to 2012, they worked as an Application Senior Developer, responsible for developing and administering SMS gateway, VAS services, and applications. Raghed also had responsibilities in analyzing, designing, and developing processes using Java, XML, and Oracle DB. Throughout their work experience, Raghed has demonstrated their skills in team management, innovation, problem-solving, and delivering commercial results.

Raghed Tamer completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Damascus University from 2002 to 2007. Raghed then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Software Engineering from Damascus University from 2010 to 2017. Currently, Raghed is enrolled at Syrian Virtual University SVU, where they are pursuing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management. Raghed is expected to complete their MBA degree in 2023.
