Stuart May

Stuart May is an experienced R&D Project Manager at LIGENTEC SA since March 2022, specializing in the development of new devices within a low loss silicon nitride platform, progressing prototypes to volume manufacturing. Prior experience includes a tenure at the University of Glasgow from October 2014 to March 2022, where roles ranged from Research Associate focused on GaAs-AlGaAs waveguides for MIR applications to a PhD student in Integrated Nonlinear Photonics. Stuart May holds a Doctorate in Optoelectronics and a Master's degree in Physics, both obtained from the University of Glasgow, alongside earlier work in various positions including fish husbandry and hospitality.
