Jon Karafin

Jon Karafin has worked in the technology industry since 2007. Jon began their career at In-Three Inc. as Vice President of Production, Technology, and Operations in 2007. In 2010, they moved to Digital Domain Holdings as Director of Production, Technology and Operations. In 2012, they joined RealD as Vice President of Production Technology and Senior Scientist. In 2014, they became Head of Light Field Video and Director of Product Management at Lytro Inc. Most recently, in 2017, they founded and became CEO of Light Field Lab, Inc., a company building the world's most innovative holographic ecosystem.

Jon Karafin earned an MFA in Digital Animation / Computer Graphics from Rochester Institute of Technology, an MFA in Fine Art Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a BFA in Film, Photography, Visual Arts and Audio Production from Ithaca College.
