Rakesh Kumar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in microfinance and rural management. Currently serving as CEO of Light Microfinance Pvt. Ltd. since July 2009, Rakesh Kumar focuses on optimizing resources and formulating strategies for business development and risk management. Prior to this role, Rakesh Kumar held the position of Senior Vice President of Business & Operations, where responsibilities included planning business strategies and managing stakeholders. Rakesh Kumar's previous experience includes serving as Regional Manager and Area Manager at SKS Microfinance Pvt. Ltd., where leadership involved empowering teams, ensuring quality operations, and implementing policies. Rakesh Kumar holds a PGDRM in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand and completed Matriculation from Goilkera High School.
