Glen Lewis is a board member at Light Work and a technical artist with over two years of experience in the field.
Glen Lewis began their career as a technical artist at Electronic Arts (EA) in February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining technologies and art workflows, identifying art workflow problems, and working with Technical Producers, Experts, TADs, and TA’s to solve them. Glen was also responsible for establishing and enforcing naming conventions within assets, tools, and workflows, integrating new technologies into art workflows, and overseeing asset and meeting budget (memory and performance).
In July 2019, Glen left EA to join Scanline VFX as a Maya Pipeline TD. In this role, they supported the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the studio tools and pipeline workflow. Glen's perspective was customer-centric with artist and production team’s requirements in mind. Glen demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and work collaboratively, and had intermediate skills with Maya, Python and Mel Script required to solve day to day VFX studio pipeline issues.
In March 2020, Glen left Scanline VFX to join Light Work as a board member.
Glen Lewis received a Bachelor's Degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institutes.
