Carissa Foley

Carissa Foley is an experienced product manager currently working at LightBox since October 2022. Prior to this role, Carissa held various positions at Sidwell, including Manager of GIS Solutions and Support and Manager of Research and Development from February 2021 to September 2022. Carissa served as Director of Research at Juniper Solutions from October 2019 to January 2021 and worked as GIS Technical Applications Administrator 2 for the County of Summit, Ohio, from May 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included coordinating GIS activities and managing system performance. Earlier roles included GIS Technical Applications Administrator at Esri, Campus Ambassador, and Educational Services Intern. Carissa holds a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and a Master’s Degree in Social Studies Teacher Education, both from The University of Akron, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the same institution.
