Joe DiStefano currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Product, Data & Analytics at LightBox since July 2025, following the acquisition of UrbanFootprint, where DiStefano was the CEO and Co-Founder from July 2014 to July 2025. UrbanFootprint focused on enhancing the transition to the Resilience Economy through its innovative Urban Intelligence Platform. Prior to UrbanFootprint, DiStefano was a Founding Partner at Golometrics, LLC, from 2009 to December 2014, creating tools to monitor household driving impacts, and held the position of Principal at Calthorpe Associates from 1997 to July 2014, leading regional planning initiatives. Additionally, DiStefano contributed as a Board Member for Livable Berkeley from 2006 to December 2013. Academic credentials include a Master of Regional Planning in Urban Planning from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
