Richard White

Richard White has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, particularly in the area of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Richard is currently employed as the Head of Research and Development at LightBox since October 2019. Prior to this, Richard worked at Environmental Data Resources where they held multiple roles, including Head of Research and Development starting in January 2014 and Senior GIS Developer from 2001 to 2012. Richard also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Risk Management Solutions from 1998 to 2001. Before that, Richard worked as a Senior GIS Programmer/Analyst at PDA, Inc. from 1996 to 1998 and as a GIS Consultant at ESRI from 1994 to 1996. Their career began at Complex Systems Research Center in 1991 as a GIS Programmer/GIS Technician. Richard also completed a GIS Internship at the United States Army Corps of Engineers from June 1992 to September 1992.

Richard White earned a BS degree in Applied Mathematics/Physics from the University of New Hampshire between 1990 and 1993. Richard then pursued a master's degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. Prior to these degrees, Richard attended Berkshire School between 1982 and 1984 to complete their high school education.
