Andy Townend

Andy Townend is a seasoned professional currently serving as Chief Administrative Officer at LightEn and holding roles as Trustee and Chair of Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee at KCLSU, as well as Non-Executive Director, Treasurer, and Chair of Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee at Amnesty International UK. Established Townend Consulting Group S.L. in January 2020 to provide consultancy support to the Ghanaian Ministry of Communications and Digitalization. Previously, Andy held the position of Chief Operating Officer at AfriKids, where the mission focused on ensuring children's rights in Ghana, and served as Trustee, Treasurer, and Senior Safeguarding Officer at Wilton Park, alongside other consultancy and partnership roles. Andy graduated from King's College London with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
