Heather Dunn

Heather Dunn is an accomplished engineering and management professional with extensive experience in the medical device, aerospace, telecommunications, and energy sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at Lightera since March 2018, Dunn holds profit and loss responsibility for specialty fiber optics development and manufacturing operations. Prior to this role, Dunn was Senior Director of Engineering at Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams, improving quality systems, and managing significant infrastructure projects. Dunn's career also includes significant roles at CIRTEC Medical Systems, ranging from Senior Director of Technology to Engineering Manager, as well as project management positions at Foster Miller and design engineering at Teradyne. Dunn earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
