John Peers

John Peers has been an officer and director of Lightfleet since its inception in April 2003. Between September 1999 and April 2003 Mr. Peers was the Chief Executive Officer of Xyron Corporation. Mr. Peers was the founder of Logical Machine Corp. prior to creating ‘The Byte Shop’, one of the first successful chains of personal computer stores. His studies in human learning led him to a neurological emulations approach in computing, now better-known as neural networking technology. In 1982, Mr. Peers founded Novix, Inc., specializing in the design of high-speed microprocessors and software optimized for neural and massive parallel computing. He received his English National Certificate in physical chemistry from Newcastle Polytechnic and Bournemouth Technical College in the U.K.
