John Poxon

John Poxon has over two decades of diverse experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Lightfoot Operations Manager since June 2011, John previously held roles at WMG, University of Warwick, as a Research Fellow and Research Engineer from October 2003 to May 2011. Early career experience includes positions as Technical Drawer/Accountant at Colin Mear Engineering Ltd., where John utilized AutoCAD and Pro-E for technical drawings and managed accounts with SAGE, and as Stores Supervisor/Acousto-Optic Assistant/Coating Plant Supervisor at Gooch & Housego Plc, where stock management and device construction were key responsibilities. John holds a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter, awarded between 2000 and 2003.
