Mathias Verhoeven

Mathias Verhoeven has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mathias started their career as an intern at Excentis in 2012, where they worked on the development and implementation of test scenarios for Dual-Stack Lite functionality in cable modems. In 2013, they joined De Clercq Solutions as a Junior Software Engineer. Mathias then moved to Lighthouse in 2014, initially working as a Software Engineer, and quickly moving up the ranks to become a Technical Lead in 2016. Mathias further progressed to the position of Director of Engineering in 2017 and then VP Engineering in 2019. Mathias'smost recent role at Lighthouse was as the CTO, where they were responsible for leading the development of user-friendly tools for the hotel industry.

Mathias Verhoeven completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Sciences from Ghent University in 2012. Mathias then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Sciences with a specialization in Information- and Communication Technology at the same university, which they completed in 2013. Prior to their university education, they attended Sint-Vincentiusinstituut Dendermonde from 2002 to 2008, focusing on Math-Sciences.
