Melissa Bell

Melissa Bell, DCLS, MS, BS, MLS(ASCP)cm, currently serves as the Laboratory Director and Quality Technical Supervisor at Lighthouse Lab Services since February 2024, following a tenure as Lab Director and Technical Consultant at the same company from January 2022 to October 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Manager of Laboratory Services at Grace Clinic (May 2020 - January 2022) and Consulting Director of Laboratory and Respiratory Services at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital (March 2016 - September 2020), where Melissa also held the position of Director of Laboratory Services. Earlier in Melissa's career, roles included Laboratory Supervisor at Covenant Medical Group from February 2011 to April 2016. Melissa's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of Texas Medical Branch (2016-2019), a Master of Science in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2007-2009), and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2005-2007).
