Dr. Rita Fields

Dr. Rita Fields is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, human resources consulting, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as an Instructional Facilitator at SHRM since October 2022 and as Chief Talent & Strategy Officer at Lighthouse MI since August 2020, Dr. Fields also holds positions as a Lecturer IV at the University of Michigan-Flint and as Founder & Owner of Copper Phoenix Consulting, an HR consulting firm established in April 2013. Co-Founder of 313 Industries Inc., which specializes in precision machining for aerospace and automotive sectors, Dr. Fields has also contributed as Executive In Residence at Strategic Community Partners and as a Doctoral Advisor at Assumption University. With a long-term academic career including professorships at Central Michigan University and Marygrove College, Dr. Fields possesses a Doctor of Management degree from Walsh College and advanced degrees in Human Resources Management and English & Psychology from Marygrove College.
