Boon Tan

Boon Tan currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Product Engineering at Lightmatter, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Boon Tan spent over two decades at Intel Corporation, ascending through various positions including Senior Director of the Data Center & AI Platforms Engineering & Architecture Group, where responsibilities included managing a large global team and delivering server product solutions. Other notable roles at Intel encompassed Director positions overseeing server system integration and outsourced semiconductor assembly, as well as a focus on quality and reliability in manufacturing processes. Boon Tan holds an Executive Leadership Development degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
