Owen Murphy

Owen Murphy is a co-founder and CEO at Lightmill, where they currently focus on innovative applications in mechanical engineering. Previously, they served as a mechanical engineering consultant, working with surgical robotics and medical devices. Owen gained diverse engineering experience through internships at Poba Medical, Tesla, and Neuralink, where they contributed to the design and development of medical devices and automotive components. They were also treasurer and co-chair of the Green Fund Committee at Northern Arizona University, managing a significant budget for sustainability projects. Owen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and attended Brophy College Preparatory.
