Kunal Sachdev

Kunal Sachdev has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Kunal is currently serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance at the Lightnet Group since early 2021. In this role, they have successfully assisted the company in obtaining payment licenses in Singapore, Lithuania, and Thailand. Kunal has also implemented efficient procedures to ensure timely handling of complex legal matters.

Prior to their current position, Kunal was the Head of Legal and Compliance at Velo Labs from January 2021 onwards. Before that, they founded and directed Aegis Consultants starting in October 2021.

Kunal's previous roles include working at DFDL as a Regional Senior Legal Adviser and Deputy Head of the Regional Banking and Finance Practice Group from January 2020 to August 2020. Kunal also served as a Regional Legal Adviser from April 2017 to January 2020 and as a Legal Adviser from October 2016 to March 2018. Kunal's earliest work experience was as a Legal Trainee at KhattarWong, where they reviewed and edited bank documentation for corporate loans, share purchases, real estate, and ship financing.

Kunal Sachdev completed their education in a chronological order. Kunal attended Bangkok Patana School from 1996 to 2008 and obtained their International Baccalaureate degree during this time. Following that, from 2009 to 2012, Kunal studied at the University of Adelaide, where they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, specializing in Law. In 2013, they attended The College of Law Australia and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, focusing on Legal Practice. Additionally, they hold additional certifications, including being a Chartered Secretary from ICSA - The Governance Institute and a Qualified Solicitor (NSW) from The Law Society of New South Wales.
