Alex Rose

Alex Rose is currently the VP of People & Operations at Lightning AI. Prior to that, they were with ResumeRx, Datadog, and Cockroach Labs. Alex has a long history of working in talent acquisition and diversity & inclusion.

At Datadog, they led a team of 60 people who were responsible for onboarding 350+ new hires in just 8 months. Alex also launched an e-learning platform for global harassment & discrimination prevention training. Alex has also partnered with expert third parties to facilitate management training for 85+ managers.

At Cockroach Labs, they created an interview training program, coding question library, and rubrics to minimize bias and standardize candidate evaluation. Alex also hired the first technical support manager and support engineer for the company.

At Clarifai, they worked on talent acquisition and diversity & inclusion.

Alex Rose has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. Alex also has an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
