Machine Learning Researcher at LightOn

Amélie Chatelain, Ph.D., is a Machine Learning Researcher at LightOn since September 2019. Prior to this role, Amélie held the position of Research Assistant at Université Paris Diderot from September 2015 to August 2019, contributing to the Astroparticle and Cosmology (APC) laboratory's theory group by studying neutrino propagation in dense astrophysical environments. Earlier experiences include a Research Internship at Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII), focusing on neutrino evolution equations, and another Internship at the Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics, where Amélie conducted Monte Carlo simulations of high-energy photon propagation. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Université Paris Cité, a Diplôme de l'école Normale Supérieure in Physics, and a Master 2 in Theoretical Physics from Ecole normale supérieure.
