David Brainard is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Vice President - Controller at Lightpath since October 2025, David previously held the role of Corporate Controller at Red Canary, a Zscaler company, from March 2023 to October 2025. Prior to that, David served as CFO at Allstream from January 2019 to May 2021 and held several positions at Zayo Group from March 2010 to May 2021, including Senior Director - Reporting & Corporate Accounting and CFO of the Dark Fiber Product Group.
