Avihu Almog

Avihu Almog is a software engineer intern at Lightricks since July 2023 and has previously served as a teaching assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from November 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included student assistance and lab support in an OOP course. Prior to that, Avihu was a remote sensing and airborne operations consultant at TSG IT Advanced Systems Ltd. from October 2019 to September 2020, leading a team focused on high-end airborne remote sensing tools and sensors. Avihu's military experience includes roles in the IDF Intelligence Corps, notably as the head of the analysis and special algorithmic products team, overseeing sensor operation and product distribution from April 2016 to October 2019, and as an operatives officer and imagery analyst in Unit 9900. Avihu holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
