Carmel Sofer serves as an Associate Professor in the Departments of Cognitive and Brain Sciences and Industrial Engineering & Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since October 2018. In addition, Carmel holds the position of Chairperson at Roni's Neighbors, a nonprofit organization aimed at alleviating seniors' loneliness through community engagement, and is the Chairman of YAZAMUT 360, BGU Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
