Devin Beck has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Devin started their career as an Executive Chef at Earls Restaurants in 1996, where they were responsible for menu development, training, and overall kitchen management. In 2010, they transitioned to become an Insurance Agent at Farmers Insurance until 2013. In 2011, they began working as a Stock Trader at BB Investments and also took on the role of Vice President of Operations at Lightshade. In 2014, Devin founded two companies: Jawbox Jerky Company, a beef jerky company, and The Fresh Fare Company, a personal chef program. Devin served as the Founder & Chief Artisan Chef at Jawbox Jerky Company and as the Founder & Concept Chef at The Fresh Fare Company until 2017. In 2015, they joined The Jamie Beck Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Devin's work experience showcases their expertise in culinary arts, entrepreneurship, and operations management.

Devin Beck attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a Chef Apprentice degree. Their field of study at SAIT focused on Food Preparation, Professional Cooking, and Kitchen Assistant skills.
