Andrew Dean

Andrew Dean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in performance monitoring and strategy within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of Performance & Monitoring at Lightsource bp since June 2018, Andrew established a robust function comprising 20 performance engineers and analysts to oversee a global solar and battery fleet of 6.4 GW across multiple countries. Previously, Andrew held various strategic roles, including Head of Client Relations & Performance - O&M and Strategy Manager at Lightsource bp, where successful international expansions and operational improvements were achieved. Earlier experiences include working as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and an intern at Origami. Andrew holds an MBA from London Business School and a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from Queen's University.
