Brooke Malik

Brooke Malik has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on business development and consulting. Brooke currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Lightsource bp, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, Brooke worked as a Business Development Manager at Apex Clean Energy from July 2021 until August 2023. Brooke also held multiple roles at 3Degrees Group, Inc., including Senior Portfolio Manager & Consultant from January 2015 to June 2021. Brooke's experience also includes consulting work at RenewThink and a fellowship at Environmental Defense Fund. Brooke has a strong background in research and teaching, having worked as a Research Assistant at the UC Santa Barbara Institute for Energy Efficiency and as a Teaching Assistant at the UCSB Technology Management Program. Earlier in their career, Brooke gained experience in corporate social responsibility as an intern at Blue Shield of California. Brooke also held management roles at Revolution Prep, where they served as a Regional Manager and an Entrepreneurial Management Trainee/Client Relations Manager. Brooke Malik completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Chapman University during the years 2007 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management from 2011 to 2013.
