Daniel Luyt is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Wind Procurement at Lightsource bp since February 2025, where responsibilities include developing global category strategies for wind turbine supply and leading procurement operations. Prior experience includes serving as a Procurement & Supply Chain Advisor for Wind & Solar at bp and as Head of EPC & BoP for Asia Pacific at Vestas. Daniel's earlier roles encompass project consultancy, engineering, and management positions within organizations such as Opal Wind Management and CBW Projects. Daniel holds multiple certificates in Business Systems Analysis and Project Management Foundations from the University of Cape Town, along with a degree in Civil Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
