Daniel Shapiro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the solar energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of EPC at Lightsource bp since April 2021. Previously, Shapiro held various roles at SunPower Corporation, including Vice President of Projects & Construction and Project Director, managing significant PV projects across multiple states and international locations. Prior to this, Shapiro was involved in project management and permit compliance for major solar facilities, including a 250 MW project in California. Shapiro began a career in environmental consulting, gaining expertise in environmental planning and permitting for energy projects. Shapiro holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
