Lopa Banerjee

Lopa Banerjee has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Starting in 1997, they worked at El Paso as a Trader/Midmarketer until 2002. Lopa then moved on to First Choice Power, where they served as a Senior Trader from 2003 to 2005. Lopa joined Green Mountain Energy Company in 2006, initially as a Portfolio Manager and later becoming the Director of Supply until 2013. Lopa then worked at Xtreme Power as a Strategic Pricing Manager, focusing on energy storage markets. In 2014, Lopa joined E.ON as the Manager of Market Operations and later became the Director of Hedging and PPA Operations until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at Amazon, first as a Senior Renewable Energy Manager and then as the Global Lead Energy Strategy Scope 3. Lopa currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at Lightsource bp, starting in 2023.

Lopa Banerjee obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997.
