Michelle Lezama

Michelle Lezama is a seasoned professional in government affairs and regulatory compliance, currently serving as Senior Manager for Government Affairs at Lightsource bp since February 2022. In this role, Michelle oversees regulatory affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement for Southern European markets, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Italy. Previously, Michelle was a Government Affairs Advisor at Lightsource bp, contributing to the European Government Affairs team and focusing on EU-related regulatory matters. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at X-ELIO, supporting regulatory oversight in multiple countries, and as an Associate at Uría Menéndez, providing legal advice on energy sector transactions. Michelle holds a Master of Laws from the University of Navarra, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws from the same institution and an International Baccalaureate from the American School of Tegucigalpa.
