Sarah Shefte

Sarah Shefte, MGIST, currently serves as a Senior GIS Analyst at Lightsource bp since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as a GIS Specialist at Patrick Engineering, contributing to the implementation of ESRI’s Utility Network for the town of Hull, Massachusetts, and as a GIS Technician at Pike Corporation, where responsibilities included mapping electrical infrastructure and maintaining an enterprise geodatabase. Sarah has also held various roles in the food service industry for nine years, developing strong customer service skills and work ethic. Additional experience includes internships at North Carolina State University and the Center for Environmental Farming Systems, along with a research assistant position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from NC State and a Bachelor’s degree in International/Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
