William Manchas, CSP, CHST is an accomplished HSE professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Interim Head of HSE for Lightsource bp across the USA and EMEA, William focuses on embedding health, safety, and environmental principles throughout the business lifecycle. Previously held roles include Head of HSE, USA, and Head of Quality, HSE & Carbon for the Americas. William also operates as the Owner and Principal Consultant at Safety Renewed, delivering EHS consultation services. A graduate of W. P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor's in Business Law and an Associate's in Occupational Safety and Health Technology, William's career spans leadership positions at First Solar and Arizona Public Service, where strategic safety and compliance programs were developed and implemented.
