Zach Davis

Zach Davis has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Zach began their career in 2009 as a Commercial Electrical Engineer at Latham Electrical Co, where they installed and maintained electrical systems for US Government military bases. In 2010, they joined FLS Energy as a Photovoltaic Engineer, handling rooftop installations and solar farms. Zach later became the Regional Operations Manager at FLS Energy, overseeing asset management of multiple sites. In 2017, Zach joined Cypress Creek Renewables as a Quality Control Manager. Currently, they are working at Lightsource bp, starting as an Industrial Engineer and progressing to the role of Technical Knowledge Manager. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Global Head of Technical Knowledge.

Zach Davis completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Mount Olive from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they studied Sustainability Studies at Cape Fear Community College from 2011 to 2012. In 2006 to 2007, Zach attended the USCG Training Center Yorktown VA, where they obtained a degree in Machinery Technician, specializing in Shipboard Maintenance and Repair. Additionally, Zach holds several certifications, including Unmanned Aircraft- Operational Authorization from the Civil Aviation Authority in August 2023, Remote Pilot Certification from the COPTRZ Academy in April 2023, and the Authorised Person Electrical Low Voltage certification from PPL Training in March 2022. Zach has also received various other certifications related to safety training, electrical code, solar energy, and construction.
