Simone Mattioli

Simone Mattioli is a Program Analyst at Lightspeed since February 2023 and a Mentee with LeadTheFuture Mentorship since September 2021, selected as one of the few Italian students for this prestigious program focused on STEM. Prior experience includes serving as a Deep Learning Engineer at Gruppo Maggioli from November 2019 to February 2023, where Simone developed Computer Vision and Speech Recognition solutions and contributed to EU-sponsored projects in healthcare and Industry 4.0. Simone holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, completed in October 2022, and previously earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution in October 2020, along with an exchange year high school diploma from Northwest High School in Ohio.
