Daniel Carter

Director of Education Partnerships - Central Region at Lightspeed Technologies, Inc.

Daniel Carter has over a decade of experience in the education sector. In 2010, they joined K12 Insight as the Vice President of Sales, responsible for sales and business development in Texas, the Midwest, Southeast, and Northwest. In 2014, they became an Advisory Board Member for the American Council & Exchange for School Safety (ACESS). In 2016, they were appointed President of DRC Management, a company providing consultative services to emerging and established companies in the K-12 education space. That same year, they joined Percussion Software as the SVP - National Sales Director. In 2017, they became the Regional Vice President of Sales at Panorama Education, a Boston-based technology company that helps schools measure concepts like growth mindset and school safety. In 2018, they were appointed Director of School Partnerships at Right At School, a company providing safe, engaging, and meaningful in-school and extracurricular programs. In 2019, they joined RRG Education as the Chief Revenue Officer and GLG as a Council Member & contributor. Finally, in 2020, they were appointed Director of Education Partnerships - Central Region at Lightspeed, a learning company.

Daniel Carter attended Fitchburg State University from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology-Criminal Justice & Political Science. Daniel then attended Northeastern University from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Law but did not earn a degree.
