Amanda Frink is currently the Head of People at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant for AcelRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Encoded Therapeutics Inc., and Tenaya Therapeutics.

At Tenaya Therapeutics, Amanda was responsible for building out everything related to People and HR from the ground up, including compliance, recruiting, culture, HR technology, employee benefits, performance management, and workplace practices and policies. Amanda led a team that provided strategic and operational support to 160+ employees in a fast-paced startup environment. Amanda was successful in streamlining and centralizing the recruitment process by bringing talent acquisition in-house and re-developing processes, resulting in cost savings as well as a more consistent and compliant candidate experience. Amanda also helped implement department-specific compensation plans that promote retention.

Amanda has a proven track record of being a champion for both employees and their company, with consideration to short- and long-term goals and objectives. Amanda is effective in resolving various employment-related issues and minimizing escalation. Amanda is dedicated to aligning individual objectives with corporate priorities through the development of a performance management system.

Amanda Frink earned their Master of Arts in Global Development Policy from Boston University and their Bachelor of Arts in International Development from University of California, Los Angeles. Amanda is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
