Arif Janmohamed

Arif Janmohamed is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where they focus on investments in the enterprise and SaaS sectors. Arif is also a founding Board Director of Latigent, a provider of real-time enterprise communications analytics.

Janmohamed has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategy. Arif began their career as a Hardware Engineer at Andes Networks, before moving into product management. In 2003, they joined Sun Microsystems as Chief Technology Officer.

In 2006, Janmohamed joined Cisco Systems as Manager of Corporate Business Development, where they led transactions for WebEx, Latigent, Securent, and Postpath. Arif left Cisco in 2008 to join Lightspeed Venture Partners as an Associate.

In 2010, Janmohamed was promoted to Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Arif has since led investments in companies such as AppDirect, C2FO, and Hightail.

Arif Janmohamed received their MBA from The Wharton School and their BSc from the University of Waterloo. Arif also attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and the University of Lausanne.
