Guru Chahal

Guru Chahal is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Guru has also co-founded Avi Networks, and served as its VP of Product/BD/Alliances/Enablement from January 2013 to December 2019.

Chahal has helped Avi Networks raise over $115M in rounds A through D, including strategic funding from Cisco. Guru was also instrumental in VMware's acquisition of Avi Networks in June 2019.

Guru Chahal holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Punjab University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Guru also has a Master’s degree in MS&E from Stanford University.

Guru Chahal reports to Ravi Mhatre, Founder & Managing Director. They are on a team with Amanda Frink - Head of People, Mercedes Bent - Partner, and Galym Imanbayev - Partner.
