Janou Gordon

Janou Gordon is an experienced professional in investment operations and political strategy, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Investment Operations and previously as Director of Special Projects at Lightspeed Venture Partners since 2018. Prior roles include Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO at the Obama Foundation from January 2017 to January 2018 and various positions at The White House between 2014 and 2017, including Associate Director of the Office of Political Strategy and Senior Legislative Assistant. Earlier experience includes serving as a Special Assistant at the Department of the Interior and Program Coordinator at the UC Washington Center, as well as a Research Assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Janou Gordon holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.
