Ryan Stouffer

Ryan Stouffer Smith is a legal professional currently serving as Partner and Vice President of Legal at Lightspeed since May 2021. Prior experience includes positions at Goodwin as Counsel and Associate from November 2013 to May 2021, and a secondment as Associate General Counsel for Corporate Governance at Nike in 2016. Smith has also worked as an Associate at Vinson & Elkins and Perkins Coie LLP, and completed a judicial externship with Hon. Laura Taylor Swain in the Southern District of New York. Early career experiences include internships at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Intellectual Ventures. Ryan holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and has also attended Yale Law School, in addition to earning a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from the University of Portland.
