Lamont Thurston

Lamont Thurston has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Lamont is the Co-Founder & CEO of conzrt.io, where they played a key role in the planning and development of an innovative digital platform. Lamont is also a Co-Founder of BENERĒ, a group captive reinsurance company focused on improving employee benefits programs. Earlier in their career, Lamont served as the SVP of Risk Strategies at Hylant, where they focused on risk identification, quantification, and prioritization. Prior to that, they founded Risk Matters, LLC, a company specializing in captive insurance solutions. Lamont has also served on the Board of Directors of The Toledo Zoo, including a two-year tenure as President. Lamont has held senior positions at Brooks Insurance Agency and Fifth Third Bank, where they managed a large commercial credit portfolio. Additionally, Lamont spent time as an English Instructor as part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program.

Lamont Thurston earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from Miami University between the years 1987 and 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Xavier University, completing it from 1996 to 1998.
